Replaced liquid line that had corroded almost through. Also replaced the entire PVC condensate drain. The installers in 1982 used the thinnest PVC on the market. It cracks over time and leaks inside the wall.

Replacing 3/4" water pipe that was leaking. A lot of work on this repair. Leak free

Found a 'hot spot' from electrolysis, causing corrosion. Made another repair further downstream that had a pinhole leak.

Installed control which was cheaper than installing new wire from basement to 2nd floor on the opposite side of the home.

Found this 3 years ago. Local plumber decided to hide the pan piping fitting. We found this upon taking down the wall. The truly sad part is they could have fixed the drain line issue easily.

So......a long time client asks me to fix a boiler issue that his rental management company sent some guys out to fix a month ago. I did the check up in January and it had no issues. They changed the thermostat= still had an overshooting the temperature issue.(eg. the heat never shut off). Then they throw new parts at the boiler and changed some low voltage wiring= problem still exists.Enter me. Diagnosed issue and returned today to re wire the entire low voltage circuit. They burned up a zone valve internally(used a wood screw; because they lost the factory machine screw on the zone valve).Story ends well with both zones working properly. Call a pro and not the local handyman when working on appliances that can go BOOM
